FAQ’s

  • Integrative Massage is the culmination of a wide range of bodywork techniques that help alleviate secondary symptoms of chronic pain (e.g., anxiety, depression, insomnia, and low energy). It also helps with improving quality of life, creating a sense of well-being, relaxing the body, mind, and bringing stress relief.

It promotes a holistic mind-body approach to health instead of drawing on solely an environmental or physiological viewpoint.

Various hands-on techniques (such as deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, polarity therapy, hot stone massage, Swedish massage, stretches, aromatherapy, etc.) can all be applied in integrated massage to support physiological changes.

  • Trauma-informed means a client-centered approach to massage therapy. It is collaborative and acknowledges that you are the expert on your body.

  • You are welcome to come in whatever you may be wearing for the day.

  • You are welcome to undress to your comfort level. As a Licensed Massage therapist I will always ensure you are fully draped and properly covered by a sheet or blanket.

  • You are encouraged to openly communicate with me about your preferences and comfort. If anything needs to be adjusted, or if we are almost (but not quite) getting the right spot, just speak up and let me know!

If a treatment doesn’t feel useful in the moment you are always welcome to share around what feels right in your own body.
